Rate: $80/hour, plus travel fee (if applicable)
SAT Prep Class
Perfect for: Students who are taking the SAT in more than 2 months.
Description: A series of classes (2 hours long each) hosted at Dover and Portsmouth High School directly after school.
Rate: Varies on class location and number of classes.
Free Consultation
Perfect for: Parents or students who aren’t sure if tutoring is the right path for them.

About Seacoast Scholars
At Seacoast Scholars, we believe every student can reach their full potential with the right guidance and support. Based in the Seacoast area, we specialize in personalized math tutoring and test preparation for the SSAT, SAT and other standardized exams. Currently, we host convenient after-school SAT prep classes at Dover and Portsmouth High Schools.
Tutoring and classes are taught by Christine Pu, who holds a Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Princeton University. Christine draws on six years of teaching experience and a clear, supportive teaching style to help students understand complex material, strengthen their skills, and enjoy the learning process.

Seacoast Scholars currently hosts after-school SAT classes at Dover and Portsmouth High Schools. For individual tutoring, Seacoast Scholars covers Portsmouth, Dover, Durham, Rye, Hampton, Kittery, and the surrounding areas.

Individual tutoring sessions are billed 1 week before the start of the session. An invoice will be emailed to you, and payment is due 24 hours before the start of the session.
SAT classes are billed once your registration is confirmed. An invoice will be emailed to you, and payment is due 48 hours before the start of the first class. If paying in cash, payment is accepted at the first class.

Yes, payment is accepted through cash or credit card. Credit cards do incur a 1.8% additional fee.

For SAT prep classes, no refunds are allowed after the 1st class has ended.
For individual tutoring, rescheduling and cancellations are allowed 24 hours before the session starts. Within 24 hours of the session, the lesson is not refundable.
